MEMBERSHIP POLICIES & CLUB RULES
American Muscle Corps designed the Membership Policies ("Policies") and the gym rules, including rules listed here and rules posted in the gym ("Rules") to ensure a safer and more enjoyable environment in which to exercise. So, please be thoughtful and observe the Policies and Rules that you, and all members, have agreed to follow. American Muscle Corps may, in its sole discretion, modify the Policies and Rules without notice at any time. It's your responsibility to know and follow the most current Policies and Rules. All approved signs posted in the gym or on the premises shall be considered a part of the Policies and Rules of American Muscle Corps.
The following Polices and Rules replace all previous Policies and Rules. If there is any conflict between these Policies and the posted in the gym rules, these Policies and Rules apply.
KEEP GYM CLEAN
- Wipe down all fitness equipment before and after your workouts.
- If you have been exposed to any illness or had any symptoms of COVID or Influenza in the past 14 days or if you become ill, please do not come into the club.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY STATEMENT
American Muscle Corps seeks, enrolls, and maintains memberships without regard to race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, or age. It is further gym policy that no circumstance or conduct undertaken by gym personnel shall have the effect of discrimination based on any of the classifications. All gym members shall have full and equal access to the gym facilities. All members with disabilities shall be entitled to reasonable accommodation for their physical and mental impairments. Any member who believes that they have been/are being treated unfairly on any of the matters should first report to gym management.
RESTROOM &LOCKERS ACCESSIBILITY-TRANSGENDER EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY
As set forth in American Muscle Corps 's Equal Opportunity Policy, all members shall have full and equal access to the gym. Consistent with this Policy, all members shall have access to the restroom and locker room facilities that correspond to the member's gender identity, regardless of the member's sex assigned at birth. For example, transgender women (who were born male but identify as female) are permitted to use the women's facilities, and vice versa for transgender men. Each member should determine the most appropriate option for her/him/themself. Any member who has a need or desire for increased privacy, regardless of the reason, will be provided access to a single-person facility, when available. No member, however, shall be required to use such a facility. Any member who believes they have been/are being treated unfairly on any of the Equal Opportunity Policies above should report to the club management.

MEMBERSHIP FREEZE POLICY
Qualification and Notice Requirements: American Muscle Corps will only freeze your membership if you are in good standing, you have all initiation fees paid, you are current on your monthly dues, you provide at least ten days’ notice for a freeze request to allow American Muscle Corps to process your request, and you qualify for one of the three categories below:
Medical Disability: You must provide American Muscle Corps with verification from your physician stating your medical disability will prevent you from using American Muscle Corps facilities. The minimum term for a medical freeze is three months and the maximum is six months.
Active-Duty Military Transfer or Extended Volunteer Assignment: You must provide American Muscle Corps with a copy of your transfer, deployment, or extended volunteer assignment orders. There is no minimum or maximum for assignment freeze. If you request a freeze term of less than six months, your membership, and monthly Electronic Funds Transfer ("EFT") or credit card charge will automatically resume at the end of the specified period. If you request a specific freeze term greater than six months, or you do not specify a freeze term, you must contact American Muscle Corps to reactivate.
Temporary Employment Transfer: You must provide American Muscle Corps with verification from your employer, on company letterhead, that you are being temporarily transferred. The location of your transfer must be more than 25 miles from the nearest American Muscle Corps location to which you have access. The minimum term for a temporary employment transfer freeze is three months and the maximum freeze is six months.
Extended Freeze: As a courtesy to our members, American Muscle Corps may approve or deny your request for an extended freeze for reasons other than those listed above. The maximum length of an extended freeze is 12 months. If American Muscle Corps does not receive notification to reactivate or further extend your freeze within 12 months, your membership agreement will be terminated.
Dues During Freeze: No further dues will be collected during your approved freeze and your right to access American Muscle Corps facilities during the freeze will be suspended. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you will still be required to pay an Annual Fee (plus applicable taxes), as provided in your membership agreement, during your approved freeze so long as your membership is in effect. In the event your membership is prepaid, the term of the prepaid membership shall be extended, without further dues, for the same period of the freeze. Except for military freezes greater than 6 months or unspecified, your membership will be reactivated, and your monthly EFT or credit card charge will automatically resume at the end of your freeze period.
Freeze Request Decisions: If your request does not conform to this Membership Freeze Policy, you will be notified that your request has been denied and your membership shall remain active unless cancelled.
GUEST PRIVILEGES
American Muscle Corps encourages you to bring friends, relatives, and business associates for a guest visit. We strongly recommend that you make an appointment for your guest's visit. A guest must check in at the front desk, be at least 18, sign a medical and injury release form and pay a guest fee before using American Muscle Corps facilities (a parent or legal guardian may bring a 16- or 17-year-old minor as a guest if the adult member agrees to sign the appropriate release forms). American Muscle Corps may restrict the number of guests and times you may bring guests. You must inform guests about these Policies. ANYONE MEMBER WHO BRINGS IN A GUEST WHO IS NOT REGISTERED WILL HAVE THEIR MEMBERSHIP REVOKED.
USE OF AMERICAN MUSCLE CORPS FACILITIES
Availability of Facilities: American Muscle Corps facilities or services, including but not limited to, classes, equipment, be discontinued altogether at any time, or be offered on a “first come first serve” basis. American Muscle Corps reserves the right to increase membership rates and charge a separate participation or reservation fee for any or all facilities or services. Use of American Muscle Corps facilities or services are authorized and limited pursuant to your membership agreement.
Conflicts Regarding Use: Please don't linger on the equipment because other members may want to use it. No member should monopolize the equipment or weights. Rules and American Muscle Corps expects all the members to follow them. In short, observe gym etiquette. If there is a conflict over use, let American Muscle Corps management resolve it.
Specialty Classes: American Muscle Corps has specific procedures and Rules and may charge you for the use of the sports courts and special classes. Please see the front desk or read the posted information for these activities.
Weights & Other Equipment: There are specific Rules posted regarding the use of the weights and other equipment in American Muscle Corps facilities. As a courtesy, please replace the weights on the rack after you use them and wipe off any benches after your use.
No Solicitation: American Muscle Corps facilities are provided for the private use of club members only and are not open to the public. Any solicitation within any club is absolutely forbidden. This includes, for example: solicitation for profit, political purposes, or any other reason; use of petitions; distributing or posting leaflets, notices, or advertising anywhere in a club facility; or leaving multiple copies of leaflets or other papers in any club.
GENERAL POLICIES FOR MINORS
Please check with the front desk for Club specific Rules. You and your minor agree to follow all American Muscle Corps Fitness’ Membership Policies and Club Rules. Should you and/or your minor fail to follow any of American Muscle Corps’ Membership Policies or Club Rules, American Muscle Corps reserves the right to revoke any permission for you and/or your minor to access its Facilities or otherwise restrict or prohibit access to its Facilities at any time for any or no reason, as determined in American Muscle Corps’ absolute sole discretion.
Minors 12 - 17: You must be at least 12 years of age to use American Muscle Corps Facilities. Minors need not be accompanied by a parent or guardian if the minor is a member, and their parent or guardian signed the financial guaranty or if the minor is a guest and the parent or guardian signed the Release of Liability. American Muscle Corps reserves the right, in its discretion, to require that a parent or guardian accompany a minor.
Minors Under 12: You may not use American Muscle Corps Facilities, be on the workout floor,) at any time, unless the minor is with a parent in an American Muscle Corps.
American Muscle Corps does not permit children over six years old of the opposite sex in the Restrooms without accompanied with a parent see our-Transgender Equal Opportunity Policy.
LOCKERS
American Muscle Corps provides lockers for members to use only while working out in the gym. You should always use a lock to protect your property. Do not leave any valuable property in a locker at any time. American Muscle Corps is not responsible for any theft of or damage to your property. If you leave a lock on a locker while you're not in the gym, American Muscle Corps will consider your property abandoned and have the right to cut off the lock. If you leave your property, American Muscle Corps shall have the right to donate your property to charity.
PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES
No Alcohol, Drugs, or Smoking: You cannot engage in any activity at American Muscle Corps while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol. American Muscle Corps does not permit smoking, alcohol, or illegal drugs, including steroids, in any of its facilities.
No Weapons: No weapons of any kind are permitted in American Muscle Corps facilities.
Photos/Filming: Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted without their prior knowledge and consent, and under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted in bathrooms.
Food & Beverages: American Muscle Corps reserves the right to limit the consumption of food or beverages in workout areas.
Personal Training: No member may train another member for compensation. If American Muscle Corps determines that such training occurs at an American Muscle Corps facility, the trainer and/or trainee.

Outside Equipment: American Muscle Corps reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the club.
DRESS POLICY
American Muscle Corps requires you to wear appropriate clothing and footwear while in its facilities such as gym shorts, T-shirts (that cover your chest), undergarments or tights with all apparel, jogging, aerobic and sweat outfits, clothes that have not been torn or altered. Street clothes/shoes and jeans are not appropriate. Shower shoes American Muscle Corps recommends closed toed shoes be always worn on the general workout floor, and wearing opened toed shoes or socks alone is at your own risk.
TOWEL POLICY
Carrying a workout towel is recommended. Please use the cleaning station supplies to wipe down equipment after use. Return dirty towels to hamper after use.
CONDUCT
While in American Muscle Corps, American Muscle Corps does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct. Such conduct includes, without limitation, using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, demeaning language, profanity, lewd conduct, or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests, or American Muscle Corps coaches, trainers of staff.
VIOLATION OF POLICIES OR RULES
If any member or guest violates any of the Policies or Rules, American Muscle Corps will ask that person to stop or leave. A member’s violation of any of the Policies or Rules may also cause American Muscle Corps, in its sole discretion, to terminate that person’s membership and/or other agreements.
STEROID WARNING
Use of steroids to increase strength or growth can cause serious health problems. Steroids can keep teenagers from growing to their full height; they can also cause heart disease, stroke, and damage liver function. Men and women using steroids may develop fertility problems, personality changes, and acne. Men can also experience premature balding and development of breast tissue. There are also civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized sale, use, or exchange of anabolic steroids.
